Lighthouse Charity Partnership

Championing Mental Health & Wellbeing in Construction

Mental Health Partners

CLG is proud to announce a new partnership with Lighthouse Charity, the only charity dedicated to supporting the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families across the UK and Ireland.

Lighthouse Charity provides a wide range of free and confidential services, including a 24/7 helpline, live web chat, and text support service, helping those in the construction community who may be struggling with their mental health or facing challenging life circumstances. Their Wellbeing Academy also offers free training and education to promote positive mental health and wellbeing across the industry.

To mark the launch of this partnership, which coincided with World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2025, CLG’s Contract Managers visited multiple sites to deliver mental health toolbox talks and raise awareness of the charity’s services. Operatives across CLG’s projects also wore specially designed hi-vis jackets signposting to Lighthouse Charity’s helpline and support platforms.

Positive Change

“At CLG, we’re committed to generating positive change and this includes promoting mental health awareness and all aspects of wellbeing support for our teams.”

This is why we’re proud to announce our new partnership with the Lighthouse Charity - a fantastic organisation providing 24/7 confidential support to the UK and Ireland construction community.

Initiatives

Tackling construction waste head-on

CLG teamed-up with Structure Tone London and SAS International to deliver a great zero-waste initiative.

  • Ceiling tile re-use or re-purpose
Instead of discarding, we safely stored 300+ ceiling tiles for potential re-use within the building or a return to SAS where they will be re-purposed within the construction industry.
  • A dedication to sustainable construction
This initiative demonstrates our dedication to sustainable practices and showcases the power of teamwork as we move towards an environmentally conscious way of working.
