Overview

Construction Logistics Group (CLG) supported Collins Construction on the refurbishment and fit-out works at the landmark MODE project, located at 125 London Wall in the heart of the City of London.

Working within a live commercial environment with restricted access, high pedestrian traffic, and complex logistics requirements, CLG provided comprehensive logistics management, housekeeping support, waste management coordination, and operational assistance throughout the project lifecycle.

The project involved phased fit-out works across multiplefloors, welfare and access management, material handling operations, and on going support to maintain safe and efficient site operations while meeting programme deadlines.

Challenges

The project presented several logistical and operational challenges due to its location and programme requirements:

  • Restricted access within a busy City Of London environment
  • High levels of daily pedestrian activity around the building
  • Tight delivery and loading contraints
  • Multiple subcontractors operating simultaneously across several floors
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards during programme delays and increased activity level
