Overview
- Construction Logistics Group are looking for an SMSTS qualified Logistics Manager to facilitate logistics on a construction site in Ireland
- Working in partnership with construction companies across the UK and Europe
- Opportunity to join a growing logistics team within a rapidly expanding company
- Long-term role with the possibility of future projects
- Immediate start available (within one week)
Ideal candidate
- Proven experience working as a Logistics Manager on a construction site
- Holds valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Fire Marshal certifications
- Strong understanding of construction site logistics, deliveries, and workforce coordination
- Confident in leading and managing on-site logistics teams
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and site operations simultaneously
- Proactive with a strong commitment to Health & Safety compliance and site standards
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to work closely with contractors, clients and site teams
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital systems such as access control or biometric systems
- Reliable, professional, and able to represent Construction Logistics Group to a high standard on site
Key Deliverables
Oversee direct and subcontract labour, resources, and materials on siteEnsure a proactive approach to Health & Safety, ensuring the project follows company procedures and legal legislationManage and accept site collections and deliveriesLead the day-to-day operations of the logistics team, including on-site drivers and delivery driversMaintain strong relationships with clients and provide a professional service to ensure the smooth running of the projectManage site logistics processes including:
- Access and egress records via our biometric turnstile system
- Monitoring site labour levels in agreement with the contractor
- Coordinating material deliveries
- Maintaining site tidiness
- Ensuring Health & Safety awareness and compliance
