Site Setup and Protection Works

The project involved the full protection and site setup works across Levels 3 and 4 for our client, Structure Tone. The scope included installing Corex, foam, MDF, and Tecdura protection to key areas such as WC facilities, riser doors, columns, stair cores, lift lobbies, and façades. Additional works included the installation of Plasloc partitions to create office and welfare areas, carpet and vinyl flooring, and a tea point setup on Level 4. Temporary electrics and lighting were also provided across both levels, along with a key clamp system for future slab cut-outs.

Challenges & Approach:

‍A key challenge was maintaining a collaborative working approach with the project team and trade contractors to sequence works efficiently, while ensuring temporary electrics and fire systems were successfully linked to the existing building services. CLG’s adaptable approach allowed the team to complete the scope in a timely manner, prioritising critical areas for the client to enable validation works to commence early and avoid any programme delays.
